I would like to thank the Management Committee for unanimously voting me in as Chair following the resignation of Dave Stanley due to ill health. I wish to echo the words of Bill Broadhead in thanking Dave Stanley for his hard work and commitment to the club over substantive years and wish him the best of health in the future.

To briefly introduce myself I have been a teacher at Riddlesdown Collegiate since 1995. I joined OCRFC in 2002 as one of the first members of the Women’s team and subsequently became Vice Captain. I took on the role of Registration Officer for the senior teams in 2005. Although I have now retired from playing rugby I’ve stayed heavily involved in OCRFC by helping out with pitch-side first aid for the Senior Men’s and Women’s Teams over the last few years and became Hon Secretary in 2011.

I am very excited to be taking on this new role and look forward to getting to better know all sections of OCRFC. I have made many great friends through the club and look on it as an extended family. I am passionate about helping the club to thrive and achieve future successes.
