The minis were started in 1991 by Mark Rowland & Paddy Westbury.. Barry & Lesley Myland then introduced the structured layout for the minis we have today.

Steve & Agnes Dalgleish, Karen & Paul Wimble, Michelle Plumb, Alan & DI Wilson, Jay Pearson plus other volunteer coaches & helpers, (apologies if names left out), got involved soon after.

At one time there were only 20 kids but with the effort of all, this soon built up to approximately 100. Lesley supplied the tea & coffee, even Barry had to pay for his own drinks.

The Kats Kafe was opened and run by Agnes & Di for about 10 years, Barry handed over to Karen who handed over to Dave Dunt who handed over to Roly Baker who handed over to Lee Parmenter.

Karen and Steve progressed into running the youth section and this is the first season we have had kids progressing through minis, youth and into the seniors. Noticeably Liam Pilcher, James Shanahan, Warren Jackson and Chris Padman.
