SOCIAL EVENTS:
During the course of the season we hold a number of social events, which are
designed to raise additional funds. These social events include quiz nights, barbeques,
dinner dances, fun days etc. If anyone has any ideas or would like to help as a
volunteer or with sponsorship, please contact the manager/chairman.
The Youth section aim to organise tours for the players (and parents, although this is
not compulsory!) around Easter each season. This usually involves a long weekend
with two or three games played and the remainder of the time exploring the local area.
Our previous tours have included Salisbury, Ireland, Wales, Guildford, Scotland and
France.
We welcome parents to all training and competitions and value your support, as will
your child. We are keen to try and involve parents in the club. With your support and
help, the every day running of the club improves and the team spirit tightens.
After all training sessions there are hot food and drinks available and on match days
this is free to all players. Once again, any help that can be offered is greatly valued.
There is a copy of the clubs policies and rules available on request at the club on
Sundays.
